Salman Khan Opens Up About Serious Health Battles on The Kapil Sharma Show.

Bollywood superstar Salman Khan made a dynamic return to the spotlight as the first guest on the new season of The Great Indian Kapil Show. The 58-year-old actor appeared fit and full of energy, silencing recent rumours about his declining health. But beneath the surface, Salman revealed a different story—one marked by serious medical challenges.

Salman on Health, Humour, and Holding Back from Marriage
During a candid exchange with host Kapil Sharma, the conversation turned to Salman’s long-standing bachelorhood. While keeping the tone light with his trademark wit, Salman shared a sobering glimpse into the health issues he’s grappling with.

“I’m breaking bones every day—my ribs are fractured,” he said. “I’m still working despite having trigeminal neuralgia, a brain aneurysm, and an AV malformation. Yet I keep going.”

Then, with a mix of levity and honesty, he added:

“All this is going on, and if a wife takes half of it when her mood changes… Had this happened when I was younger, maybe I could have earned it all back. But starting over now—it’s tough.”

A History of Health Challenges
This isn’t the first time Salman has spoken about his health. In 2017, during promotions for Tubelight, he publicly revealed he was living with trigeminal neuralgia—often dubbed the “suicide disease” due to the excruciating pain it causes.

What Are the Conditions Salman is Battling?
Trigeminal Neuralgia: A chronic condition causing sharp, electric shock-like pain in the face. Even simple actions like speaking or chewing can trigger unbearable episodes.

Brain Aneurysm: A ballooning of a blood vessel in the brain, often symptomless until it ruptures—at which point it can cause a potentially fatal stroke.

AV Malformation (AVM): A rare condition where abnormal connections form between arteries and veins, often in the brain or spine. AVMs can lead to bleeding, seizures, or other neurological problems if they rupture.

A Relentless Performer
Despite these formidable health challenges, Salman Khan remains as active as ever—whether it’s shooting films, making public appearances, or connecting with fans. His unwavering dedication and resilience not only defy his age but also serve as a testament to his commitment to the industry he’s led for over three decades.
