Salman Khan leaves shoot midway, reaches Lilavati Hospital after Salim Khan’s ICU admission

Bollywood star Salman Khan was seen late Tuesday night at Lilavati Hospital after his father, veteran screenwriter Salim Khan, was admitted to the ICU following health complications related to swelling.

Salman, who was shooting in Madh Island at the time, reportedly halted work and rushed to the hospital upon receiving the news. As he exited the hospital premises later that night, paparazzi surrounded his vehicle. The actor maintained composure but appeared concerned. In visuals captured by media, he was briefly seen with his eyes closed while seated inside the car, seemingly in quiet reflection.

According to a statement issued by Dr. Jalil Parkar, Salim Khan was brought to the emergency ward around 8:30 am by the family doctor, Dr. Sandeep Chopra, and later shifted to the intensive care unit. A team of specialists—including neurologist Dr. Vinay Chavan, cardiologist Dr. Ajit Menon, neurosurgeon Dr. Nitin Dange, and Dr. Bineet Ahluwalia—are monitoring his condition.

The hospital confirmed that Salim Khan is stable but under close observation. Further medical details are being withheld at the family’s request, with a formal press bulletin expected on Wednesday morning.

Following the hospitalisation, family members including Alvira Khan Agnihotri, Arpita Khan and actor Aayush Sharma were also seen visiting the hospital to be by the veteran screenwriter’s side.
