Sensex Rises 216 Points, Nifty Above 24,800; Metals and Autos Lead Gains.

Indian equities opened higher on Monday, with JSW Steel, Tata Steel, Tata Motors, M&M, Wipro, Adani Enterprises, and Eicher Motors driving the rally.

Meanwhile, US markets ended lower on Friday, with the S&P 500 down 0.32%, the Dow Jones down 0.48%, and the Nasdaq down 0.03%, after weaker-than-expected US jobs data raised concerns over economic recovery.
