Sky Force had a solid opening on its first day at the box office, earning an estimated ₹11.25 crore (India net) on Friday.

The film received a positive response, especially in key regions like Mumbai and Bengaluru, where the evening and night shows had the highest occupancy. The film performed decently across various areas, with the Hindi 2D version contributing significantly to the overall earnings. The total occupancy on Day 1 was highest in Mumbai, followed by Bengaluru, indicating strong interest from the audience in major metropolitan areas.

However, the film saw a drop in its collections on Day 2 (Saturday), with the earnings falling to Rs 0.81 crore (India net) as per Sacnilk. This brought the total earnings after two days to Rs 12.06 crore. While Sky Force had a promising start, the dip in Day 2 collections suggests that maintaining consistent audience engagement will be crucial for its box office longevity.

On Day 1, the occupancy in regions like Mumbai was at 26.75%, with the evening and night shows leading the charge. Other regions like NCR and Bengaluru also saw moderate occupancy, indicating that the film managed to attract a broad audience.

The film delves into A B Devayya’s unyielding spirit and pivotal role in one of history’s most significant conflicts. Directed by Abhishek Anil Kapur and Sandeep Kewlani and produced by Dinesh Vijan, Jyoti Deshpande, and Amar Kaushik, Sky Force is set to release in theatres on January 24, 2025.

News18 Showsha gave it 4 stars. An excerpt from the review read, “The aerial saga is a true Republic Day treat and it deserves a watch for its execution and treatment. It packs a punch without trying too hard and sets a precedent for a modern-day patriotic film where friendship and loyalty take a precedence over politics and ultra-nationalism.”
