Ayushmann Khurrana and Sharvari’s Sooraj Barjatya Film Titled Yeh Prem Mol Liya.

Ayushmann Khurrana and Sharvari Wagh are teaming up for the first time in Sooraj Barjatya’s upcoming romantic family entertainer, which has officially been titled Yeh Prem Mol Liya.

For months, the film was speculated to be called Prem Ki Shaadi, but a new on-set photo has confirmed the title. Photographer Ravendra Singh Bhadauria recently shared an image of the clapperboard on Instagram, clearly displaying Yeh Prem Mol Liya as the film’s title.

Shooting in Full Swing

The film went on floors in Mumbai on November 1. Several pictures of Ayushmann and Sharvari shooting at a railway station surfaced online last week. The team has since completed a week-long song shoot in Kandivali, featuring over 200 background dancers and a large ensemble cast.

According to a Mid-Day report, Sooraj Barjatya and his crew will now begin a 60-day start-to-finish schedule at Mehboob Studios in Mumbai. Most of the film’s emotional and family sequences will be shot there across three indoor sets.

“Almost 80 per cent of the film will be completed in Mehboob Studios, with only a few outdoor patch portions. The goal is to maintain creative continuity and capture the emotional graph of the story in one flow,” a crew member told Mid-Day.

The team is expected to wrap up the entire shoot by January 2026.

Star Cast and Production

Alongside Ayushmann and Sharvari, Yeh Prem Mol Liya will feature veteran actors Anupam Kher, Seema Pahwa and Supriya Pathak in pivotal roles. The film is jointly produced by Rajshri Productions and Mahaveer Jain Films.

Sooraj Barjatya on His Creative Vision

Speaking to PTI earlier, director Sooraj Barjatya said he still feels nervous before every project, even decades after his debut with Maine Pyaar Kiya. “I’ve always had this nervousness before a shoot — it’s not about box office numbers, it’s about connecting with the audience. The world I create must feel honest and relatable, like your own home. That’s my biggest challenge,” he said.

He added that he remains committed to making family-oriented stories.

“It’s important to make all kinds of films, but for me, family films will always come first.”
