After Ranveer Singh stepped away from Don 3, reports suggest Shah Rukh Khan could make a comeback to the franchise, reprising his iconic role. According to TellyChakkar, SRK is willing to return but only if Jawan director Atlee is brought on board. The superstar believes Atlee’s involvement would raise the film’s scale and excitement, though no final decisions have been made yet.

Shah Rukh originally played Don in Don 2, and Ranveer Singh was slated to replace him before quitting last year. Sources say Ranveer wanted to avoid back-to-back gangster roles after the success of Dhurandhar and explore collaborations with filmmakers like Sanjay Leela Bhansali, Lokesh Kanagaraj, and Atlee.

Kiara Advani, who was signed as the female lead, has reportedly exited, with Kriti Sanon in talks to replace her. For the antagonist, actors Vikrant Massey and Vijay Deverakonda reportedly declined due to the lack of character depth.

With SRK’s potential return and the latest casting changes, Don 3 remains one of Bollywood’s most anticipated films.
