Sunita Ahuja Responds to Govinda Affair Rumours: “She Doesn’t Love Him, Only Wants His Money”

Sunita Ahuja has addressed the ongoing rumours surrounding Govinda’s alleged extramarital affair, clarifying her position and expressing her hopes for family harmony in the coming year. In an interview with ETimes, Sunita said, “I treat 2025 as a very bad year for me because I’ve been hearing about Govinda’s controversy that he is having an affair with a girl, but I know that she’s not an actress because actresses don’t do such bad things. She doesn’t love him; she only wants his money.”

Sunita added that she hopes 2026 will bring peace to her family. “I want Govinda to put an end to all these controversies and for us to have a happy family. I hope he realises that the most important things in his life are three women: his mother, his wife, and his daughter. No one has a right to keep a fourth woman in their life. I want him to focus on his work and leave behind those who are only with him for money,” she said.

Earlier, Sunita had dismissed divorce rumours during the 2025 Ganesh Chaturthi celebrations, stating, “Seeing us together like this… if there was something wrong, would we be this close? No one can separate us… My Govinda is only mine and no one else’s.”

Govinda and Sunita married in 1987 and welcomed their daughter Tina in 1989. Despite decades of a strong marriage, rumours around their relationship continue to make headlines. Sunita’s recent comments reaffirm her commitment to her family while addressing the speculation directly.
