Prabhas’ much-anticipated film The Raja Saab has locked its trailer release date, with a brand-new poster unveiled on Saturday. The trailer will drop on September 29, sending fans into a frenzy on social media. The new poster also teases Sanjay Dutt’s regal look, further fueling buzz around the supernatural entertainer.

While excitement builds, reports suggest the film may not hit screens this year. Producer TG Vishwa Prasad recently revealed that the team is considering January 9, 2026 as the release date to coincide with the Sankranthi festival, though some distributors are pushing to stick with the earlier planned December 5, 2025 slot. Final confirmation is awaited, with patchwork and song shoots still underway.

The film marks a genre shift for Prabhas, diving into horror-comedy after years of action and fantasy roles. The Raja Saab is set against the backdrop of a massive Haveli, billed as the largest horror set ever built in India at 41,256 sq ft.

Alongside Prabhas, the cast features Sanjay Dutt, Malavika Mohanan, Nidhhi Agerwal, and Ridhi Kumar. The film is also eyeing a major Hindi release but could face a box office clash with Vishal Bhardwaj’s upcoming project starring Shahid Kapoor and Triptii Dimri.
