Trump Declares Massive Damage in Iran Strike, Calls It a ‘Bullseye’ Hit on Nuclear Sites.

Former U.S. President Donald Trump on Monday claimed responsibility for what he called a “bullseye strike” on Iran’s key nuclear sites, boasting that U.S. airstrikes had caused “monumental damage” to Tehran’s nuclear infrastructure.

The operation, conducted early Sunday, marked a dramatic escalation in the ongoing Middle East conflict and the first direct U.S. military action against Iran in coordination with Israel. The strikes targeted three of Iran’s most critical nuclear facilities: Fordow, Natanz, and Isfahan.

“Monumental damage was done to all nuclear sites in Iran, as shown by satellite images. Obliteration is an accurate term! … The biggest damage took place far below ground level. Bullseye!!!” Trump posted on Truth Social, referring particularly to the heavily fortified Fordow site, built deep into a mountain.

‘All Planes Are Safe,’ Says Trump
In a post made shortly after the strikes, Trump said:

“We have completed our very successful attack on the three nuclear sites in Iran, including Fordow, Natanz, and Esfahan. All planes are now outside of Iran airspace. A full payload of bombs was dropped on the primary site, Fordow.”

Pentagon: Iran’s Nuclear Program ‘Obliterated’
U.S. Secretary of Defense Pete Hegseth later confirmed the strikes and echoed Trump’s tone, calling the assault “a huge success.” “We devastated the Iranian nuclear program,” Hegseth said during a Pentagon press briefing on Sunday evening.

The U.S. reportedly used advanced bunker-buster bombs, designed to penetrate deep underground, to strike Fordow — one of the most secure and secretive parts of Iran’s nuclear program.

Global Reactions: Allies Applaud, Critics Condemn
While Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu welcomed the U.S. intervention and called it a “powerful step toward securing global peace,” the move has drawn sharp condemnation from several major powers:

Russia and China condemned the strikes as reckless and destabilizing.

Saudi Arabia urged restraint and called for de-escalation through diplomacy.

The United Nations has scheduled an emergency Security Council meeting amid growing fears of a regional war.

Iran Vows Revenge
Iran responded strongly to the strikes. Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei condemned the U.S. and Israel, warning of a “harsh and decisive” retaliation. “This is an act of war, and the enemies will be severely punished,” Khamenei said in a televised address. “The American regime will regret this reckless aggression.”

Iran has reportedly placed its missile units on high alert and hinted at potential retaliation across the region, raising concerns about oil supply routes, especially through the Strait of Hormuz, a critical global energy chokepoint.
