Delta Co-Pilot Arrested by Federal Agents at San Francisco Airport Over Child Porn Charges: Reports

A Delta Air Lines co-pilot was arrested by federal authorities moments after landing at San Francisco International Airport on Saturday night, according to Fox News and other reports. The arrest, reportedly linked to child pornography charges, took place on board Flight 2809 from Minneapolis.

Videos posted on social media show at least 10 federal agents, including Homeland Security investigators and air marshals, boarding the aircraft and heading straight to the cockpit. Passengers looked on in shock as the co-pilot was handcuffed and escorted off the plane.

“He looked genuinely stunned,” one passenger told FOX 9. “We were preparing to disembark when agents suddenly moved down the aisle. It all happened very quickly.”

Another eyewitness told the San Francisco Chronicle, “It was alarming. Agents in plain clothes, with badges and weapons, pushed their way up to the front. It was like watching someone disappear before our eyes.”

The pilot has not yet been publicly identified, and federal agencies—including Delta Air Lines, the Department of Homeland Security, and the TSA—have not released official statements on the arrest.

The travel blog View from the Wing, which also shared video of the incident, reported that the operation unfolded shortly after the plane landed around 9:35 PM local time. The footage shows agents removing the co-pilot without incident.

The case remains under investigation, and further details are expected from authorities in the coming days.
