Vicky Kaushal Calls Katrina Kaif a ‘Warrior’ as He Reflects on Her Motherhood Journey

Vicky Kaushal has spoken candidly about stepping into fatherhood, expressing deep admiration for wife Katrina Kaif and the strength she has shown through pregnancy and early motherhood.

The couple welcomed their son, Vihaan, in November 2025. At a recent interaction hosted by The Hollywood Reporter India, Vicky was asked about life as a new dad. Reflecting on the experience, he shared that while their baby is just three months old and keeping them sleep-deprived, the phase has been incredibly special.

“He is three months old right now. There’s very little a dad has to do at this stage. I’m just trying to be a cheerleader and waiting for him to grow up so I can contribute more,” Vicky said, adding a light-hearted touch to his response.

He went on to heap praise on Katrina, calling her a “superhero” and a “warrior” for the way she has embraced motherhood. According to Vicky, she handled her pregnancy with remarkable resilience and continues to show immense strength as a new mother. “I’m so incredibly proud of her and I love her so much,” he said.

Earlier, in an interview with GQ India, the actor described becoming a father as the most significant moment of his year. He noted that while he expected to feel overwhelmed with emotion, the experience has instead been grounding and transformative.

Vicky and Katrina tied the knot on December 9, 2021, in an intimate ceremony at Six Senses Fort Barwara in Rajasthan. They announced the birth of their son on social media with a heartfelt message, sharing their joy and gratitude with fans.

As they navigate this new chapter, the couple continues to balance their professional commitments with parenthood, occasionally offering glimpses of their life as first-time parents.
