NZ tighten hold with Conway, Nicholls, Ravindra tons; lead Zimbabwe by 476.

New Zealand tightened their stranglehold on the second Test, piling up 601/3 by stumps on day two against Zimbabwe in Bulawayo. Centuries from Devon Conway (153), Rachin Ravindra (165) and Henry Nicholls (150) put the visitors 476 runs ahead and in complete command of the match.

Conway, dropped early and reprieved by DRS on an lbw call, brought up his fifth Test hundred before Blessing Muzarabani finally dislodged him. Nightwatchman Jacob Duffy added a useful 32 on debut, ensuring a seamless launch pad for the middle order.

Nicholls, filling in for Tom Latham, batted with composure to notch his 10th Test ton, while Ravindra counterattacked in style, striking 21 fours and two sixes in his second Test century.

After more than two days in the field, Zimbabwe’s bowlers looked spent. With the pitch showing signs of wear, New Zealand are expected to declare early on day three and press for another quick finish — just as they did in the first Test.
