Dhanashree Verma has hit back at trolls and hate comments with a powerful message of self-belief and resilience.
The choreographer, who is currently appearing on Rise and Fall, responded after a video shared by her team on Instagram seemingly targeted Nikki Tamboli. In the clip, Dhanashree is seen hugging her mother, who praises her for making her proud.
In the caption, Dhanashree wrote a heartfelt note asserting that no amount of trolling or hate can bring her down. “Hate comments, trolls, people who love seeing my fall… you will never break me because with my mother by my side, I will always rise. When the whole world is against you, it doesn’t matter because the real ones always stand by you,” she said.
The post comes a day after she appeared to respond indirectly to Samay Raina, who had shared a screenshot of a video on social media tagging Yuzvendra Chahal with the caption, “Love you, my sugar daddy.” Dhanashree playfully posted a picture of her pet dog, captioned from the pup’s perspective: “Don’t worry guys, meri mumma ka acha samay hi chal raha hai” (Don’t worry guys, my mom is having a good time).
On Rise and Fall, Dhanashree has been candid about her past relationship with her former husband, Yuzvendra Chahal. She recently opened up about their engagement, marriage, and eventual split. Speaking to actor Arjun Bijlani, she explained that their relationship began as a mix of love and arranged marriage. “It started off as an arranged marriage. He wanted to get married without dating, and I wasn’t even planning for anything like that,” she said.
Dhanashree revealed that while Chahal was certain about the relationship from the start, she needed convincing. “I got convinced due to the amount of love that was poured into the whole process. We did our Roka (engagement) in August, and then we got married in December. During that time, I travelled with him, and we stayed together. I started seeing subtle changes in his behaviour. There is a difference between how people act when they want something compared to when they get it.”
Despite noticing these changes, Dhanashree said she tried to make the relationship work. “Even though I saw him changing, I put my trust into him and the relationship. My problem is that I love giving too many chances to the people around me. But eventually, I got done with it. I tried to do everything I could from my side and give my hundred per cent. I’ll always be concerned for him; that much I can guarantee.”
Through her posts and statements, Dhanashree continues to showcase strength, resilience, and the importance of staying grounded, especially with the support of loved ones, even in the face of criticism and public scrutiny.
