Female Doctor Allegedly Fuels Faridabad Terror Module, Raising Security Alarm

In a worrying development for India’s internal security, investigators probing the Delhi Red Fort car blast have uncovered the involvement of highly educated professionals, including doctors, in terror networks. The probe links the incident to a Faridabad-based module, suggesting that professional credibility was being leveraged to evade law enforcement.

Central to the investigation is Dr. Shaheen Saeed from Uttar Pradesh, who is suspected of financing and facilitating the terror operation. Intelligence sources say she was associated with Dr. Umar of Al-Falah Medical College, Faridabad, believed to have driven the vehicle that exploded in Delhi on Monday, killing twelve people.

Shaheen is also reportedly linked to Muzzamil, a key accused, and is said to have been in a relationship with him, connecting her directly to the core group behind the attack. Sources claim she was radicalised as part of Jaish-e-Mohammed’s efforts to form a women’s brigade for psychological operations in India and oversaw recruitment of female operatives.

Authorities suspect she helped pool Rs 35–40 lakh for the attack and facilitated movement of weapons. The vehicle used in Faridabad for storing recovered arms is also linked to her. Investigators say she used her medical profession and NGO channels to mask encrypted communications and illicit fund transfers.

Her ties to the Al-Falah network in Delhi-NCR, a recruitment and radicalisation hub, are under scrutiny. The involvement of a socially influential woman in funding and facilitating terror operations underscores a new and dangerous dimension in India’s security landscape, highlighting the radicalisation of educated, professional individuals.
