Rocking Star Yash is all set to return to the big screen with his ambitious project Toxic: A Fairy Tale for Grown-Ups, and reports about his paycheck have grabbed attention across the industry.

As per a report by Siasat.com, Yash is said to be charging approximately ₹50 crore for the film. However, there has been no official confirmation regarding this amount. It is also not clear whether the actor has signed a profit-sharing deal in addition to his upfront remuneration.

Teaser Promises a Dark, Grand Spectacle

The recently unveiled teaser hints at a visually rich revenge drama directed by Geetu Mohandas. The footage showcases a stylised cinematic world — shifting from a carnival-like atmosphere to an East Asian-inspired setting — layered with action, intensity and emotional depth.

Yash appears in a dramatically transformed avatar, sporting multiple looks that highlight his physical dedication to the role. From a sharp, lean frame to a heavily built, battle-scarred persona, the transformation signals the scale and ambition of the film.

Ensemble Cast and Strong Technical Team

The film also stars Kiara Advani, Huma Qureshi and Tara Sutaria in significant roles.

On the technical front, the project brings together an impressive crew including National Award-winning cinematographer Rajeev Ravi, composer Ravi Basrur, editor Ujwal Kulkarni and production designer TP Abid. Action sequences are being choreographed by Hollywood stunt director JJ Perry, best known for his work on John Wick, along with action specialists Anbariv and Kecha Khamphakdee.

Multilingual Release Strategy

Co-written by Yash and Geetu Mohandas, the film has been shot simultaneously in Kannada and English, with dubbed versions planned in Hindi, Telugu, Tamil and Malayalam. The scale of production reflects its global ambitions.

Produced by Venkat K. Narayana and Yash under KVN Productions and Monster Mind Creations, Toxic is scheduled for a theatrical release on March 19, 2026, aligning with festive celebrations like Eid, Ugadi and Gudi Padwa. With mounting buzz, a large-scale production setup and reports of a hefty paycheck, Toxic is already shaping up to be one of the most talked-about films of 2026.
