S. S. Rajamouli has showered praise on Priyanka Chopra for her performance in the action thriller The Bluff, calling it “another testament to her talent.”
Priyanka, who will soon be seen in Rajamouli’s much-anticipated Indian project Varanasi alongside Mahesh Babu and Prithviraj Sukumaran, has been earning widespread acclaim for her latest international outing. The film, directed by Frank E. Flowers, premiered on Prime Video on February 25.
Rajamouli’s Reaction
Taking to X (formerly Twitter), Rajamouli expressed admiration for Priyanka’s screen presence and emotional range.
“@priyankachopra is one of the few actors who can be utterly vulnerable at one moment and ferociously strong the next. #TheBluff is another testament to her talent, with lots of kick-ass stunts as well. Enjoyed the setting and the pace. Congratulations to the team,” he wrote.
His remarks underline Priyanka’s ability to balance intensity and vulnerability — a duality central to her character in the film.
Mahesh Babu Also Impressed
Mahesh Babu, who will share screen space with Priyanka in Varanasi, also praised her performance.
“#TheBluff is a well-mounted film with engaging action n emotions!!! @priyankachopra is in top form — swashbuckling and ticking all the boxes with a packed performance… Sending all my love to the team for the amazing work,” he posted.
