Mahieka Sharma kisses Hardik Pandya on field after India’s T20 World Cup win; all-rounder calls her his ‘lucky charm’

Amid roaring cheers and confetti celebrations after India’s T20 World Cup triumph, Hardik Pandya shared a romantic moment with girlfriend Mahieka Sharma that caught fans’ attention on the field.

The Indian all-rounder celebrated the victory with Mahieka at the stadium, where she ran up to him, wrapped him in a hug and planted a quick peck on his cheek. A delighted Hardik later described her as his “lucky charm”.

India national cricket team made history by becoming the first side to successfully defend the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup title. Led by Suryakumar Yadav, India defeated New Zealand national cricket team by 96 runs at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad on Sunday to clinch their third T20 World Cup crown.

Speaking to the host broadcaster after the victory, Hardik said the title meant everything to him and reflected years of hard work.

“This is the victory I have always lived for. This is why I have played cricket. I want to win trophies and as many trophies as I can. In 2024, I had said that whatever trophies I play for, I will win — and I believe that. This trophy validates that,” he said.

He also credited Mahieka for bringing positivity to his life.

“There is a lot of hard work behind this. It’s not just talk. Work hard, stay silent and be a good person. Since Mahieka has come into my life, I have only been winning,” Hardik added.

Photos from the celebrations showed Mahieka joining him on the field moments after the win, hugging him tightly and celebrating together. The couple was later seen walking hand in hand across the ground as the team soaked in the victory atmosphere.

Mahieka also shared a tribute to Hardik on Instagram Stories, posting a picture of him proudly posing on the field after the win. She captioned it: “The man, the myth, the legend,” along with crown and Indian flag emojis.

Hardik Pandya and Mahieka’s relationship

Hardik began dating the 25-year-old model and actor in 2025 and made their relationship public earlier this year with a birthday post on Instagram. Mahieka was frequently seen supporting him from the stands during the World Cup tournament.

Hardik was previously married to actor Natasa Stankovic. The couple married in 2020 but separated in 2024, with their divorce finalised later that year. They continue to co-parent their son, Agastya.
