Char Dham Yatra: Uttarakhand administration urges pilgrims to stay alert, travel safely amid adverse weather conditions
Authorities in Uttarakhand have urged Char Dham Yatra pilgrims and tourists to exercise caution and travel carefully as adverse weather conditions are expected across parts of the hill state.
The India Meteorological Department has issued an orange alert warning of rainfall and unstable weather conditions, particularly in hilly regions over the next two days.
Garhwal Divisional Commissioner Vinay Shankar Pandey appealed to travellers to stay updated on weather conditions and plan their journeys accordingly. He also advised devotees to strictly follow instructions issued by local authorities and district administrations.
Officials said all relevant departments have been directed to make necessary preparations to ensure safety and arrangements for people undertaking the pilgrimage.
