Vijay, Trisha Pay Condolence Visit to Ajith Kumar After Mother’s Passing

Actor-politician Vijay visited the Chennai residence of Ajith Kumar on Saturday to offer his condolences following the death of Ajith’s mother, Mohini Mani. Actor Trisha Krishnan also accompanied him and paid her respects to the grieving family.

Videos from outside the residence showed Vijay arriving under security cover before meeting Ajith and his family. The two actors were seen sharing a brief embrace as Vijay entered the house to offer his condolences.

Trisha was also spotted visiting the residence, where she met family members and paid her respects. The actor, dressed in black, was seen greeting Ajith and spending time with the family during the visit.

The condolence call has attracted attention due to the enduring bond between Vijay and Ajith, two of Tamil cinema’s biggest stars. Despite years of fan rivalry and comparisons between their careers, the actors have maintained cordial relations and have often spoken positively about each other.

Trisha, too, shares a long professional association with Ajith. The duo has worked together in several successful films, including Ji, Yennai Arindhaal and Vidaamuyarchi.

Ajith Returns to Chennai After Mother’s Death

Mohini Mani passed away on May 30 at the age of 89 after a prolonged period of age-related health issues.

In a statement shared by family member Anil Kumar, the family said she passed away peacefully in her sleep after battling declining health for several years. The statement also expressed gratitude to the doctors and healthcare professionals who cared for her during her final years.

Ajith, who was reportedly in Dubai when the news broke, returned to Chennai to be with his family and oversee the final rites.

Since news of her passing emerged, members of the film fraternity, political leaders and fans have extended their condolences to Ajith and his family, with Vijay and Trisha among the prominent personalities to visit the actor in person.
