Ramayana: Ranbir Kapoor’s Ram Tenderly Fixes Sai Pallavi’s Sita’s Hair in Beautiful New Poster

The makers of Ramayana have unveiled a new poster featuring Ranbir Kapoor as Lord Ram and Sai Pallavi as Sita, giving fans a heartwarming glimpse of the couple’s gentle and affectionate bond.

Siya Ram’s Heartwarming Moment

The new poster captures Ram and Sita sitting peacefully beside a river, both dressed in shades of orange. In the sweet moment, Ram is seen carefully fixing Sita’s hair while she smiles shyly.

Far from an elaborate or dramatic scene, the poster focuses on the quiet affection between Siya and Ram. The makers described the image as a celebration of the “timeless bond of Siya Ram.”

Jai Jai Ram To Release Today

The poster reveal has also set the stage for the launch of Ramayana’s first song, Jai Jai Ram. Composed by AR Rahman and featuring lyrics by Dr Kumar Vishwas, the track brings together celebrated singers Shreya Ghoshal and Arijit Singh.

The song is expected to mark the beginning of the film’s much-awaited musical journey.

Makers Announce Ramayana’s Musical Journey

The makers had previously announced that Ramayana would begin its musical journey on the occasion of Ganesh Chaturthi. The announcement promised the unveiling of the Siya Ram poster at 7:30 AM IST, followed shortly by the first song, Jai Jai Ram.

The team also shared a special message seeking the blessings of Ganpati Bappa before beginning the film’s musical journey.

Ranbir Kapoor, Sai Pallavi Lead the Epic Adaptation

Directed by Nitesh Tiwari, Ramayana is being made as a two-part adaptation of the epic. Ranbir Kapoor stars as Lord Ram, Sai Pallavi plays Sita, Yash portrays Ravana, Ravie Dubey plays Lakshman and Sunny Deol takes on the role of Hanuman.

The film’s music has generated considerable buzz, with AR Rahman and Hans Zimmer collaborating on the ambitious project.

Produced by Namit Malhotra, Ramayana: Part One is scheduled for a worldwide release on November 6, 2026, with its India theatrical release set for November 8. The second part is expected to arrive during Diwali 2027.
