The Cockroach Janta Party accused the government of employing “shock and awe” tactics to intimidate citizens ahead of its planned protest against CEC Gyanesh Kumar. In a post on X, the party said people would no longer be afraid and invoked Mahatma Gandhi, BR Ambedkar and Jawaharlal Nehru in connection with the constitutional right to vote. It reiterated its demand for Kumar’s resignation, using the slogan, “Gyaanu gaddar must resign!”
