Sooraj Pancholi Reacts To Disha Salian Case, Denies Meeting Her: ‘I Have Nothing To Hide’

Actor Sooraj Pancholi has finally addressed the renewed scrutiny surrounding his name in the Disha Salian death case.

The development comes after the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) registered an FIR in connection with the death of Disha Salian, who was the former manager of late actor Sushant Singh Rajput.

Amid renewed reports linking him to the case, Sooraj has categorically denied ever meeting Disha or Shiv Sena (UBT) leader Aaditya Thackeray. In a statement shared on social media, the actor said he decided to speak out after his name continued to feature in reports and claims related to the case.

“For the last few years, my name has been dragged into the controversy surrounding the unfortunate demise of Late Disha Salian through various media reports and statements,” Sooraj said.

He went on to make his position clear, stating, “I want to say this out loud and very clearly! I have never met Late Disha Salian in my life, directly or indirectly. I have also never met Aditya Thackeray in my life.”

Sooraj Says CBI And Police Recorded His Statement

Sooraj also addressed questions about whether he had previously been questioned in connection with the matter. He said that both the CBI and police had questioned him and that his statement was recorded approximately four to five years ago.

“I have nothing to hide,” the actor wrote. He further said that he remains willing to cooperate with the authorities if they require any additional information or want to question him again.

According to Sooraj, he had deliberately avoided responding to every report or allegation involving his name over the years. However, he said the continued references to him in connection with Disha’s death made it necessary for him to publicly clarify his position.

Actor Calls Allegations Without Evidence ‘Unfair’

Sooraj described the repeated attempts to associate him with the case as “unfair and upsetting.” He urged people to verify information and establish facts before making claims about his alleged involvement.

The actor also appealed to the authorities to examine what he called “malicious propaganda and false narratives” surrounding the case. He stressed that the death of one individual should not be used to damage another person’s reputation without evidence.

“A headline is not evidence. A debate is not evidence,” Sooraj said, urging people to distinguish between speculation and verified facts.

Concluding his statement, Sooraj said he has faith in the legal process and the investigating agencies. He maintained that he is ready to cooperate with any investigation and expressed confidence that the truth will ultimately come out.
