US Police Chief Accused by Daughter of Long-Term Abuse and Ritual Torture.
A civil lawsuit filed by Courtney Tamagny, 20, alleges that her father, Leonia Police Chief Scott Tamagny, along with a neighbor and others, subjected her to more than a decade of sexual abuse and ritualistic torture starting at the age of four.
The lawsuit claims the abuse took place from 2009 to 2020 and involved repeated incidents of assault both at home and in wooded areas near their residence. Tamagny alleges the acts were linked to a local cult involving satanic rituals, including the use of tunnels, masked individuals, and violent practices.
In a podcast interview earlier this year, Tamagny said the group’s alleged activities included “animal burnings, drum circles, and threats intended to silence victims.” She also claimed her sisters were similarly abused and drugged.
According to the suit, the trauma resurfaced in 2022 during medical treatment, leading to a report being filed by her therapist. Since then, Tamagny and her mother have gone public, calling for the police chief’s removal.
Both Scott Tamagny and neighbor Kevin Slevin, who is also named in the lawsuit, have denied all allegations. Slevin has filed a defamation countersuit, and both men claim previous investigations found no wrongdoing.
The case is ongoing in civil court.
