Trump Weighs Alaska Trilateral Summit With Putin, Zelenskyy: Report

The White House is exploring the possibility of turning the planned August 15 meeting between US President Donald.

Trump and Russian President Vladimir Putin in Alaska into a trilateral summit by including Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy, NBC News reported, citing a senior US official and multiple sources familiar with the matter. One source described the idea as “under discussion,” noting that Zelenskyy’s participation has not yet been finalised, and it remains uncertain whether he would attend in person or engage in separate talks.

A White House official said Trump is open to meeting both Putin and Zelenskyy together, but stressed that the current plan is still for a bilateral meeting with Putin, arranged at Moscow’s request. If the proposal moves forward, it would mark the first time the leaders of the US, Russia, and Ukraine have sat down together since the start of the war in 2022.
