Sunita Ahuja Clarifies She Does Not Live With Govinda, Responds to Affair Rumours.

Sunita Ahuja, wife of actor Govinda, has confirmed that she does not live with her husband. In a recent YouTube vlog, she revealed that the couple resides in separate homes opposite each other. While Sunita stays with their children—Yashvardan and Tina—Govinda lives alone.

Addressing rumours of an affair, Sunita said,
“The problem is that some people in his family don’t want to see Govinda and me together. They wonder why our family is so happy, especially since their own wives and children have passed away. Govinda doesn’t mix with good people, and as I always say, if you stay with bad people, you’ll become like them. Today, I don’t have a friend circle – my children are my friends.”

She further clarified that the speculation does not affect her because she is strong and deeply loves her husband:
“Chi Chi [Govinda] and I have been living in different homes for 15 years, but he keeps coming and going at our house. The man who hurts a good woman will never be happy; he will always remain restless. I gave him my entire life from childhood, and even today, I love him so much. Yes, I’m 100% upset because I hear the rumours too. But I’m very strong because I have my children.”

This comes weeks after the couple dismissed divorce rumours and were seen celebrating Ganesh Chaturthi together.

Sunita and Govinda’s love story dates back to the 1980s, culminating in marriage on March 11, 1987. Sunita is the sister-in-law of Govinda’s uncle, Anand Singh, who worked as an assistant to filmmaker Hrishikesh Mukherjee. The couple have two children: Tina Ahuja, who briefly ventured into Bollywood, and Yashvardhan Ahuja.
