Israel says striking Iranian military infrastructure across Tehran

The Israeli military said on Monday it is carrying out strikes targeting Iranian military infrastructure across the capital, Tehran, as the conflict between the two countries continues to escalate.

In a statement posted on Telegram, Israeli forces said they were “currently striking Iranian terror regime military infrastructure across Tehran,” indicating an ongoing operation aimed at degrading Iran’s defense capabilities.

The announcement comes amid a broader campaign of airstrikes by Israel targeting Iranian military sites, including missile launch systems and command centres, in an effort to weaken Tehran’s ability to carry out attacks.

Recent developments suggest the strikes are part of an intensifying confrontation, with reports of retaliatory missile launches by Iran and continued Israeli operations deep inside Iranian territory.

The escalating hostilities have raised concerns of a wider regional conflict, as both sides continue to exchange attacks and signal readiness for further military action.
