Trump’s explosive rant: ‘Open Strait of Hormuz now’ warns Iran

US President Donald Trump has issued one of his sharpest warnings yet to Iran, signalling the possibility of coordinated strikes on key infrastructure, including power plants and bridges, as early as Tuesday, while also calling for the reopening of the Strait of Hormuz.

In a post on Truth Social, Trump described Tuesday as a potential turning point in the standoff, suggesting large-scale attacks could be imminent. His remarks, delivered in unusually blunt language, combined a direct threat with pointed criticism of Iran, drawing widespread attention.

“Tuesday will be Power Plant Day, and Bridge Day, all wrapped up in one, in Iran. There will be nothing like it!!!” he wrote.

The Strait of Hormuz — a critical global oil transit route — has emerged as a major flashpoint in recent weeks, raising concerns over energy security and escalating tensions in the region.
